Aegon’s Conquest and Robert’s Rebellion are very similar in that both are not designed to be their own stories. They don’t have real character arcs or anything notable in the way of politics, it’s just a series of battles, in the latter case with a bunch of character backstories that aren’t themselves real arcs.
