This is the sensitivity near the center of steering. A higher number means lower sensitivity. A normal car is usually around 15-20. A truck might be 25-28. I like mine at 20. For reference, default steering with a 900 degree steering wheel is 12.86, way too low! Open the game, go to settings, and set steering non-linearity to max (full right).
Route Planner Navigation Mode. In the "Gameplay" settings section, there is an option for "Navigation mode" and it has three options, Best, Shortest, and Small Roads Only. Best seems to find the fastest route (in game time), Shortest finds the shortest in terms of actual distance, and Small Roads Only is pretty self-explanatory. 1. Do not use the nVidia Control Panel (or AMD) to set up ETS2, it's most likely outdated and create more issues than solve them. 2. Your computer seemed to be barely above the minimum recommended to play ETS2.
Turning the brake force down to the left would also simulate a more realistic experience, as would using the engine brake outside of cities. Simulate air brakes, turn off automatic electricity and truck start, simulate fatigue, turn the truck and trailer stability down (I have my truck stability at about 1/4 from the left, trailer at about 1/2
In the gameplay options. Additionally, v1.35 open beta for ETS2 also has the console command g_cabin_suspension_stiffness for 4 point cabin suspension. Default is 1 for KB players. Most reallistic is 0. Players can set it to any number between these two to find a sweet spot that htey are happy with eg 0.3, 0.5 etc. For GTX 660, 0x000010C5 (SGSSAA) and 0x004030C5 (MSAA) values seem to be good choice. You have to disable in-game MLAA and set scaling to 100%. If it starts to feel laggy, you can try turning vSync on. #8. NoOne Dec 6, 2013 @ 2:03pm. GTX 770 powers through it with i7 3770 , 60fps all the way with max settings:) The best truck? Depends on what you want from a truck. I prefer the New Actros and Volvo (and meanwhile the DAF Euro 6) because of roadholding and stability, but other people have other preferences. My recommendation is you do a lot of quick jobs with different trucks to see what suits you best. Euro Truck Simulator 2. Light Visibility range low fps. Ever since the new 1.41 lighting came out my fps dropped when i enabled light visibility range.Im on an old Graphics card and i play on mostly low->Med settings. There is no difference between fps in setting Light Visibility High or Low. I have fatigue on. In fact I didn't even know you could turn it off until seeing this thread.Seems like it would get boring with it turned off and you would lose most of the strategic part of the game. Ya it's under the Options section in the game play part. All you have to do is uncheck the check box and away you go. TC9YOry.
