The GTI gearbox is completely different to all other models, plus it had a 200mm clutch whereas all others are 175mm or 190mm. It has completely different ratios and also has EDL (electronic differential lock) ARB on the GTI is larger as are the front discs.

HI All. I have a Golf MK4 1.4 16v which had the engine light come on. AA diagnosed codes P0300 and P0304. I changed the spark plugs in January of this year and replaced the HT Leads as well a few months back. Codes came back and I also changed the Coil Pack and also renews the fuel filter.
Závady, opravy. - Nejprve těsně po koupi (leden 2013 naj. 142 tis. km) začalo mlátit uložení stabilizátoru, které jsem nechal vyměnit za nové viz. fotogalerie - stálo 50Kč plus práce :-). A s ním jsem nechal vyměnit i převodový olej. Koupený originál VW (celkem 500Kč). cd9n8jN.
